A little about me

Hi, I'm Tylissa - but you can call me Ty.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker who believes therapy should feel human, supportive, and collaborative. I provide trauma-informed therapy for individuals navigating life challenges, anxiety, and the impacts of difficult experiences. Healing doesn't happen through pressure or performance. It happens when you have room to feel understood, supported, and fully be yourself.

I grew up in Arizona and attended Arizona State University, where I earned my Master of Social Work. Outside of the therapy room, I'm a wife and mom, and I love houseplants, sports, crafts, and finding little creative projects to work on.

One of the things I care most deeply about is helping people know that they belong and that they have worth. That belief is a big part of what drew me to therapy in the first place. I want the people I work with to have a space where they don't have to prove themselves, have everything figured out, or become someone different in order to be worthy of care.

My Approach

Therapy looks different for everyone. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness techniques. Together, we'll focus on understanding patterns that may be keeping you stuck, building practical skills, and creating changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
